The Basics
Worldwide Pro Wrestling Forum is set up to be a collaborative writing experience. Players assume the role of a professional wrestler working for a "wwe-type" company. Players may have multiple characters. Each wrestler will need to submit a "promo" to participate in each week's "episode." A promo is an RP between 1,500 and 10,000 words that features the wrestler. They can be stories from the wrestlers life, interviews, direct shoots against the week's opponent, or any other method the player may choose to relate their wrestler to the upcoming match. One episode will be written per week. An episode is a written series of matches involving the wrestlers on that week's card. Those are the basics. Thanks for reading.
All suggestions are welcome, and all questions will be answered. There's no obligation with membership.
Roleplays
All promos must be between 1.500 and 10,000 words. Roleplays should feature the character and highlight their opposition for the upcoming match. They will be saved on the website and associated with your character for as long as the forum lasts.
Anyone may sign up for free. Members may submit unlimited characters. The full functionality of the site opens with membership.
Characters
You can have as many characters per account as you can manage. Original characters meeting the guidelines will be accepted. No existing or real world characters will be accepted under any circumstances. Characters from previous roleplays which are now dormant are allowed. Character guidelines may be found in the "Applications" section.
Schedule
One show will be held per week. Three regular shows and one major event per month. All shows will be posted on Sunday. The schedule will be arranged when the game begins.
Shows
Match-Ups will be decided at the beginning of each week when the Writing period begins. Six days will be allotted for the writing period. Results will be determined by the Promoter based on established writing principles with consideration given to relative skill. This way, players of different skill levels will be able to play in the same game world. The show will be written and posted on the seventh day along with the next show 's match card.
